It's me, Kari, the human behind the camera at KLayne Photography.

To some I am a wife, a fur mom, a sister, aunt Karebear, and even a goat midwife. But to you I'm your new best friend. I have been married to my husband now for 10 years. Like how is that even possible. It feels like just last week we were at the State Fair of Texas in the parking lot (yes the parking lot) and he was proposing to me. To most, including my own husband, I’m a “crazy cat lady”. Not just because I’m slightly obsessed with cats but because out of our 8 animals 6 are cats. The other 2 are Iggies/ Italian Greyhounds. If you know anyone with an Iggy you know that we are obsessed with our Iggies.  

While I love photographing people and their stories, you might also find me driving down a backroad with my windows down listening to some good music or grabbing a cup of coffee from a local coffee shop. I love to travel out west towards the desert every chance that I get. But the reality is I really just love traveling. My family is everything to me. We are those weird people that do almost everything together or talk to each other at least 4 times a day. I love to spend my time with them making as many memories as possible.
