I recently had the absolute pleasure of photographing a Texas engagement session for Aubrey and Reid, this beautiful couple was filled with love and joy that simply radiates from them! What made this photoshoot even more special was the location. You see, Aubrey and Reid chose to have their photoshoot on their family property, a place that holds countless memories and significance for them. This is something I would really encourage for all my clients! Why, you ask? Well, think about it. A photoshoot is all about creating and capturing memories. What better place to do that than a location already filled with memories?! The property Aubrey and Reid chose is incredibly special to them. The house that it’s in the photos is actually the house where Aubrey’s great-grandpa grew up.

Aubrey and Reid spend their free time creating memories with family and friends on this land. It’s a place of laughter, of love, and of shared stories. It’s a place that has seen their beautiful love story unfold, and what better backdrop for their engagement photos? Oh, and did I mention pets are always welcome in photoshoots? They most definitely are! After all, they’re part of your family and your story too. I love how Aubrey and Reid’s photos turned out. There’s a warmth and familiarity to them that only a loved and lived-in place can bring. The happiness in their eyes, laughter, and even the serene moments of quiet love — they’re all beautifully framed against the backdrop of a place that means so much to them!
