I recently had the honor of photographing a beautiful, timeless city elopement in downtown El Paso, Texas. The elopement was for a couple who holds a deep love for each other. Paola, a native of El Paso, and Zach wanted to tie the knot surrounded by their loved ones in a city they both adore. Furthermore, their love story has always been deeply rooted in family, which was evident in the importance they placed on having Paola’s grandparents at their wedding. Paola describes her grandparents as the “blueprint to love,” and it was clear that their presence added a depth of emotion and meaning to the ceremony! Paola & Zach’s Beautiful Downtown El Paso Elopement

This beautiful couple loves black and white photos, a classic choice that adds a timeless feel to their memories. So, I knew I had to pack something extra special! I packed a 35mm film camera with some black and white film for the day to capture these special moments. They turned out so beautifully and was the perfect extra touch to their elopement. We started the celebrations with a welcome party at the elegant Hotel Paso Del Norte the night before the ceremony. This place was a great place to set the scene for their stunning weekend. As the sun set, we took advantage of the city’s twinkling lights and the star on the mountain – a magical sight for anyone from El Paso! Then, I drove up to the lookout point to capture this picture-perfect scene.

On the day of the elopement, we met at the courthouse in downtown El Paso. After the ceremony, we started a walking tour back to the hotel. Making stops along the way to capture the beautiful architecture of downtown El Paso. We wrapped up the photo walk at the El Paso Museum of Art before heading to their reception at the Hotel.

The two-day celebration was filled with genuine moments of love, laughter, and joy. The couple’s love for each other and their city was evident in every photo. This wasn’t just an elopement; it was a celebration of love, family, and the city of El Paso. This downtown El Paso elopement was a timeless, genuine, and fun experience. Being a part of Paola and Zach’s special day was truly an honor.
