This adventurous engagement session with Kelsey & Trevor in Texas was the best day ever! The planning of this session had a unique twist, as Trevor was working out of state in New Mexico. But you know me, I’m always up for a little adventure! So, I suggested we take the session to Trevor, and I’m glad we did! As we started planning, we had our sights set on a National Park for their amazing backdrops. But, as I was soon to discover, National Parks don’t have a way to look up your annual pass like our Texas State Parks do. Noted for future reference! Now, my National Park Pass never leaves my side.

Roadtrip Themed Adventure Engagement Session

This hiccup led me to arrive early and explore the area a bit. And you know what? I stumbled upon some picnic sites just off the side of the highway that I had passed earlier. They were perfect! I quickly made the call to Kelsey and Trevor to reroute, and it turned out to be a fantastic idea! This little detour of ours turned out better than any of us expected. The picnic sites offered more of an intimate setting, away from the crowd, with a beautiful view that made for a perfect backdrop! It was casual, it was fun, and it was so ‘them’! We laughed, we explored, and we created memories that will last a lifetime!

Shooting Kelsey & Trevor’s engagement session in this unexpected location was an absolute dream. Their love for each other was evident in every shot, and their smiles were genuinely infectious. They were up for the adventure, and their trust in me to capture their love story in such an unconventional setting was humbling. All in all, it was an unforgettable day filled with laughter, love, and the beauty of the unexpected! I’m thrilled to have been a part of Kelsey & Trevor’s journey.
